Desiderio is developing the foundation for low-cost VM servers using damaged phones. Current work includes low-level virtualization, device-specific compatibility, code slimming for limited resources, and power management. The goal is to offer affordable VMs to students, developers, and small teams for whom expensive cloud services are difficult to use.
